This Privacy Policy explains what information True & Tiny (“we”, “us”) collects and how we use it. By using the Service you agree to this Policy together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your email address and email-verification status, and (if you set one) a securely hashed password.
• Payment data: we do not store your full card number. Payments are handled by our processor (Stripe) and PayPal; we retain identifiers such as your customer/subscription ID and the date, amount, status, and card brand/last-4 of each charge.
• Usage & activity data: the files you process (file names, sizes, formats, quality), the dates and times of use, account creation and login timestamps, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and browser/device information.
• Support data: messages and feedback you send us.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service;
• To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud;
• To maintain security, enforce our Terms, and keep records used as evidence when responding to payment disputes or abuse;
• To communicate with you about your account, including sign-in links and service notices.

3. Your images

Images you upload are processed to produce a compressed result. For anonymous and free use, processed files are not retained beyond what is needed to deliver your download. For paid (Pro) accounts, compressed results may be saved to your account history so you can re-download them. We do not sell your images, use them for advertising, or use them to train machine-learning models.

4. Data retention

• Pro account compression history & files: retained for up to 12 months, then eligible for deletion.
• Account and billing records: retained for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required for legal, accounting, fraud- prevention, and dispute-evidence purposes.
• Usage logs: retained to operate the Service and as evidence of authorized use in the event of a payment dispute.

5. Third-party services

We share the minimum data necessary with service providers who help us run True & Tiny, including Stripe and PayPal (payment processing), an IP geolocation provider (to derive approximate location for security and analytics), and email delivery for sign-in links. These providers process data under their own privacy terms.

6. Cookies & sessions

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@trueandtiny.com from your account email. Note that we may retain certain records where we have a legal basis to do so, such as fraud prevention and dispute evidence.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
