Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of True & Tiny (the “Service”), operated by True & Tiny (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service — whether on a free or paid plan, and whether or not you create an account — you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Refund & Chargeback Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

True & Tiny is an online tool that compresses and converts image files. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account or purchase a subscription.
• One person or entity may not maintain accounts to evade a suspension or block.

4. Subscriptions & billing

The Pro plan is a recurring subscription billed at US$5.00 per month through our payment processor until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method. Full billing, trial, cancellation, and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Chargeback Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to process;
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Resell, scrape, or abuse the Service or its API beyond your plan’s limits;
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the images you upload. You grant us a limited license to process, transform, and temporarily store your images solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train models or for advertising. Retention periods are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. API use

If you access the Service via our API, you must use a valid API key or origin/account credential where required, stay within your plan’s rate and usage limits, and not share credentials in a way that circumvents those limits. We may meter, throttle, suspend, or revoke API access to protect the Service.

8. Chargebacks & payment disputes

You agree to contact us to resolve any billing concern before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback for a charge relating to a service that was authorized, delivered, and used through your account — instead of requesting a refund from us — is a breach of these Terms. We maintain detailed records of account activity and service usage and may submit them as evidence in any dispute, and we may suspend or permanently block accounts, emails, and payment methods associated with a wrongful chargeback. 9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any images you value.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or initiate a wrongful chargeback. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including billing, disputes, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which True & Tiny operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
